Brandi Felderhoff, PhD, LCSW-S, APHSW-C

Associate Professor | Clinical Supervisor

Dr. Felderhoff has 16 years of experience as a licensed social worker with practice experience in the areas of guardianship, veterans, in-patient and out-patient mental health, including rural mental health, and aging and end-of-life of issues. Dr. Felderhoff is passionate about and specializes in death, dying, and bereavement work with a particular focus on cultural humility and trauma-informed approaches, as well as developing competent masters and clinical level social workers. Dr. Felderhoff currently serves as the Region IX Representative to the NASW Board, President of the Board for the Denton Area Partnership for End-of-Life Care, and is the MSW Coordinator of Field Education at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.

Angela Lutts, LCSW-S

Owner & Psychotherapist | Embracing Hope Counseling & Family Services PLLC

Angie Lutts, LCSW-S has 20 years of experience as a licensed social worker, with practice experience in the areas of child welfare, school social work, and inpatient and outpatient mental health care. She established an insurance based independent clinical practice in 2017, specializing in trauma and relationships. She is on a journey of becoming a liberation-focused therapist. and enjoys providing supervision for those seeking clinical licensure. She also provides consultation for social workers on starting and managing an independent practice. She served on the NASW taskforce charged with updating the Clinical Social Work standards, and she currently serves as the Vice President of the Board for NASW Texas.
